In the day’s final pairing, Scottie Scheffler was joined by Collin Morikawa, who trailed by just one shot at 6-under. Morikawa, the 2022 Masters champion, is also vying for his second victory at this prestigious tournament. Historically, the odds are in their favor, with 28 of the last 33 Masters winners emerging from the final group. During a tense moment when the lead was shared among four players, Scheffler executed an extraordinary approach on the ninth hole, narrowly missing an eagle, which propelled him into the lead at 8-under.

Meanwhile, Max Homa, positioned third at the start of the day with a score of 5-under, had a challenging round with no birdies, accumulating 17 pars and a single bogey.
