The City 26-27 Third Jersey Shirt is connected to an unusual chapter in Manchester City kit history. For the 2026–27 third kit, supporters were invited to create concepts through an AI-powered design platform. Fans from more than 200 countries produced over 180,000 shirt concepts, followed by approximately 1.7 million platform ratings before a final shortlist went to a supporter vote.
The winning concept came from lifelong City supporter Elliott. Its selection made the 2026–27 third kit notable as the club described it as the first fan-designed AI kit in professional football to be worn by players on the pitch and sold to supporters.
The Story Behind the White and Blue Artwork:
- The visual identity centers on a clean white foundation divided by a striking vertical two-tone treatment. Sky blue and deep navy run down the middle with a gradient transition, creating a modern interpretation of colors closely associated with City. The winning concept specifically featured this white base and central two-tone sash.
- The Jersey shown here builds on that recognizable theme with the club crest, ETIHAD AIRWAYS lettering and blue detailing across the front. The personalized back adds YOUR NAME above the large number 10, while the continuing blue gradient helps connect the front and rear presentation.

- Orders using this option generally arrive 5-10 days (U.S. orders) and it takes 2 weeks for International orders after being manufactured and shipped. (See notes below)
- Manufacturing times for this option vary more around busier times of the year or during extreme circumstances such as covid-19 shutdowns.
Shipping and expedited manufacturing ($19.99+) (U.S. Only)
- Orders using this option jump to the front of the manufacturing queue which can generally save a couple days (or more during busier times of the year).
- It's highly recommended to use this option if you are ordering for a specific event or holiday.
- Orders using this option generally arrive 2-3 days after being manufactured and shipped. (U.S. only)
- Orders using expedited manufacturing will be printed when the next batch of orders are processed which can vary depending on seasonality and other factors.
